click to view Reviewed by heidinger4 We checked in on Friday. When Kyle gave us the information to get to our property, he was clear that it was building B #204, which meant building 2 unit #204. Well we drove up and down Sol Vista for an hour because our building was in fact building 2, but it was unit 2204 which lead us to believe we were in the wrong place. We called 2 different numbers on your map for maintenance and neither of your maintenance workers could give us more instruction as to how to find the property.
The place was not very clean. There was what could have been a years worth of dirt along every base board on the floor. The decorative pillows on the beds have drool spots on them. The blankets were dingy. The pull out couch bed has a huge nasty stain on the mattress and the sheets on the master bedroom would not stay on the bed. The mattress's in general were very uncomfortable. The thermostats were very confusing... there was one in every room but then there were manual turn on heating units in the bedrooms. The heating element on the over needs to be checked. It took us 2 hours to cook a lasagne that should have taken an hour.
On the bright side. It was well equipt and great to be able to ski in/out. Had plenty of hot water. And despite the overall cleanliness of the unit, we had a good time.
Quiet, relaxing, and family fun-filled week for the holidays. Reviewed by mdschulze Ski in/ski out capability was great. The Solvista ski resort is nice and very considerate staff. Nice family activities available between Christmas and New Years for children to enjoy. Grocery stores and restaurants within 5 to 30 minutes away. Spa and indoor swimming pool made for a relaxing evening after skiing all day.
Minor frustrations were that building # labled different than confirmation letter for our unit, sign on internet different than actual when looking for group of buildings having our unit, and mid-week towel and linen service occured with only a day and half left for week long stay. The sofa bed unacceptable for sleeping on. Reviewed by swischer The condo needs a lot of attention to maintenance. Carpets and paint are bad. I had to buy light bulbs that were burned out. Kitchen appliances need to be upgraded. Mattresses need to be replaced as they are sagging. I expected more for the cost per night of this condo.
