SolVista Basin Ski Area is located two miles south of Granby and 15 miles north of Winter Park, and is part of Granby Ranch. For families looking for a "low key" resort experience, SolVista can't be beat!

Receiving approximately 220" of snowfall annually each year, SolVista Basin is typically open mid-December through late March. With 400 plus acres, there are two separate, inter-connected mountains, each with terrain suited for skiers and boarders of all skill levels:

• East Mountain's terrain is primarily beginner and intermediate
• West Mountain's terrain is primarily intermediate and advanced with limited beginner access
• A separate learn-to-ski park features a surface lift for beginners

SolVista Base Camp Lodge, remodeled in the 2007/08 ski season, is a central, three-story base facility housing lift tickets sales, ski school desk, information desk, rentals, retails shop, lost and found, lockers, ski patrol, administrative offices, dining hall and restaurant.

For those seeking more of a solitude experience, Granby Ranch also has 25 kilometers of cross-country and snowshoe trails.
