GUEST RATING click to view Actually...we loved the stay. We had a wonderful time and were excited to come back with our older son. Except, when I was giving my daughter a shower the last day, I noticed red blotches on her. When we got home, it was worse, I took her to the Dr. and we were told it was bed bug bites. I had to wash everything and strip down our beds, get them all professionally cleaned. What a nightmare! I called to let the resort know and I was to hear back from someone in charge and I never heard a peep! Very disappointing. Had we heard back and at least got an apology and acknowledgement...it would have made matters much better.  Manager Response: 11/29/2011Orkin inspected this property within 24 hours of notification by the guest. Orkin reported that there were no bed bugs in this unit. We did follow up and sent an email reporting that there were no bed bug found in this unit. We apologize if it was not recieved. DisappointingThe couch/bed was very uncomfortable with coils poking up. We had to get extra blankets to cushion this. The pool and hot tub were covered and thus unusable. On the good side the unit despite being very small was nicely decorated and it was very quiet since so few people were there. Manager Response: 11/29/2011Great news!! CHECK IN LOCATION- Our office is located on highway 40 in downtown Winter Park. The physical address is 78884 US Highway 40. We are located next to and to the left of the 7-11 convenience store and gas station. Our check in location is on the first floor of the Allegiant Management office, a 3 story building with a clock on the tower.
