GUEST RATING click to view Excellent service from the rental agency. Disappointed there was no wireless internet access as advertised. Very nice unit would be better if laundry facility were available. Directions should advise users not to use GPS device to try and find the vacation home as you end up getting really lost. Had a great time and would stay here again. The decorations of the vacation home were really great. We like Highlands Hideaway!Large, well-equipped, light and sunny, and spotlessly clean. Onsite parking. The only downsides are that it's a bit of a drive to get to any ski resorts (Sol Vista or WinterPark), and the views out of the large, lovely windows include nearby, neighboring houses. Otherwise, very nice. Oh, and we got to bring our dog and she loved it. mountain home away from homeHighlands Hideaway was very comfortable and well equipped. Of course the thing I liked best was being able to take my best friend who happens to be canine. The thing I liked least was the dish satellite TV as the signal constantly "skipped" in its reception. The location is nice because it is close to Winter Park and Granby which both offer many fun activities. The only problem with the service was that the Front door was apparently broken (sign said "do not use") and unannounced workers came to do repairs on Sunday ...I think the rental agency should have informed us about this ahead of time. This sure is a great place to stay while taking advantage of the area - especially with your faithful fido. Sorry about the Sunday repair call. Much like home, a surprise repair can come up at any time. This repair was attempted between your occupancy and the previous one. There was a last minute problem - the paint peeled after a cool night in our shop. The planned install on your arrival day was delayed. We will remind our maintenance staff that even in the off season we have great guests staying with us for more than the weekend. Secluded 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in the Winter Park Highlands. Home has a great deck, gas fireplace and large windows that lend an open airy feeling to the residence. The two bedrooms feature a King in the master and a Queen and Twin in the spare, the futon in the living room brings the maximum occupancy to 7. Outside the home is a cute kid's playhouse. There is a gas grill on the deck and a two car garage. This residence is also pet friendly so the entire family can take advantage of the mountains.
