For beginners to experienced fisherman...
-
If you've never flyfished before, the guides can provide lessons while on the river to teach you or your family members how to cast, read the water and as much about etimology (bugs) as you care to learn. To catch a salmon fly hatch in May/June is a fascinating time to learn about these insects.
- Even experienced fisherman can benefit from hiring a guide. Think about it. Why spend time trying to figure out on your own which fly (dry?, nymph?, size #24?, size #18?, streamer since it's overcast? which one?)? These guides know the rivers (some even know the fish by name - just kidding. We think.), the hot spots, what the fish have been feeding on recently - you get the picture.
